Spring, oh spring;
When did you come?
Filling my garden,
With colors and worms.
I live on a mountain,
Herding my sheep,
The milk, they give;
Would fill all my needs.
I would sing all the day:
About the birds of the sky,
About the love that surrounds,
Between the earth and the high.
I love to see the morning rise,
And to see the sunset skies,
Its all joy and peace everywhere,
And no chance for loneliness here.
I have a dog,
To watch my sheep,
And I would sing,
All my dreams,
The dream to fly over the fields,
Over the mountains and the hills,
To walk on the water,
And swim in the air,
To meet my father and mother,
Whom, I love so dear.
